We take a short flight to Singapore and the whole disembark customs and collect baggage runs like clock work.
This where it all goes a bit off. I used a travel agent to organise the accommodation in Singapore thats really all they had to do.Prior to leaving I spotted that the itinerary had us booked in 1 month before we were due to land in Singapore. Contacted the agent and they assured me it was a typo, WRONG.
The first afternoon lost finding accommodation.
Singapore is considered the safest city in the world I have been here before and love it. It is expensive but if you are willing to eat at the local food places you can get a good meal and a beer for about 3 Dollars.
End up with a room at the Stamford with great views of the marina area.

There is much to see in Singapore and if you fly Singapore airlines you can get a discount on the SAI hop on hop off bus which gives you different tours of the city.
We also booked a night tour which included dinner a tour of the city stop and shop at Bugis street market and finish at Raffles for a Gin Sling in the long bar.

There is lots to see here not enough time I will be back.
Put these on your short list
Sentosa Island
Botanical gardens
Hop on Hop Off bus
Bugis street market
Indian quarter
Chinese quarter
Raffles Hotel

The list goes on our stay is only short but we will have to come back and spend more time.
Is it the safest city, I never felt that I needed to check where my wallet was located.
